Events Department

The Events Department plans and coordinates all Herriman City events throughout the year. The department aims to accommodate all ages and interests of those living in our community while continuing traditions and supporting a vibrant culture.

Community Fishing

Community Fishing

Monday evenings — April 22-June 3, 2024 | Cove Pond

The Community Fishing program is aimed to help youth learn how to fish over the course of six classes, held once a week in the spring.

Presented by Families First Pediatrics, Children and youth participate in bicycle safety and health-related activities led by a variety of local organizations.

Memorial Day

May 27, 2024 | Main Street Park & Herriman Cemetery

A valued Herriman tradition, the Memorial Day Breakfast and Ceremony is an opportunity for the community to say "thank you" to military services. The breakfast is traditionally located at Main Street Park, with the ceremony held at the Herriman City Cemetery.

The Fort Herriman PRCA Rodeo is one of the summer favorites for Herriman residents as we harken back to the olden days and Herriman's wild west past.

Fort Herriman Towne Days span an entire week and is the largest event in Herriman City, with activities for the whole family including fireworks.
