Economic Development

Economic Development

Herriman City is located in the southwest portion of Salt Lake County. It is a master-planned community, balancing small-town appeal while aggressively pursuing economic development opportunities. The City’s high quality of life, scenic environment, and abundant community amenities has made it one of the fastest growing communities in Utah.

Understanding the importance of planned growth in our City, the Economic Development Department is devoted to unequaled customer service, fast-track permitting, and business retention and expansion opportunities.

Back to school, back to business

August 15, 2022

J. Lynn Crane Park • 5-9 PM

Each Monday, food trucks and vendors take over J. Lynn Crane Park, 5373 Main St, to sell food and goods to large crowds of local community members. On August 15th, Herriman businesses and food trucks will be given special access to a Herriman local business only area as a part of a "Back to School, Back to Business" event. This exclusive opportunity allows your business to meet face-to-face with community members to show off your product and sell your food and goods to let them know what's available right here in their Herriman backyard. To participate, email good4lifemarkets@gmail.com, the City's farmers marketplace partner, with the subject line "back to school, back to business".

• Cost: $25 for businesses & $10 for local farmers

• Standard space is 10 ft x 10 ft (10 ft x 20 ft space provided upon request)

• Selling of products, goods, or food is encouraged along with general advertisements, promos, and swag giveaways

• Food-related businesses including fast food, restaurants, drink shops, food trucks, etc. are all encouraged to participate as the traditional Hungry Herriman Food Truck Roundup, with trucks from the Food Truck League, will not be participating to give Herriman businesses the exclusive opportunity to sell their food and beverages

• Power will not be provided by the City

• Tents, tables, and chairs will not be provided by the City
