We Are Herriman: Providence HS Dance Team

Providence Hall High School’s dance team recently competed in the 3A pom/dance division for only the second time and came home as the champions. Despite the many challenges and detours, they took along the way, the 10 girls worked hard together and made adjustments when and where needed. “Providence Hall may be young and small, but we are mighty. We have arrived,” coach Melanie Hiatt stated during a recent City Council meeting as the team was recognized. “The 3A division sees us, we are not going away. We will continue to work hard to not only build beautiful dancers but to build thriving young people...to cultivate students who think critically, communicate effectively, and act responsibly.” Congratulations, Patriots’ dance team on an amazing job. Well done and well deserved!
