  • 7-0 approving a conditional use amendment for the site plan and building elevations of a Good 2 Go convenience store (previously approved as Kum & Go) located at 4978 W 12600 S in the C-2 Commercial Zone.

Amendments to the site plan for Good 2 Go:

A site plan at 4978 W 12600 S was previously approved for a Kum & Go convenience store. The site has been taken over by a different convenience store company, Good 2 Go, who filed a request with the commission to make changes to the previous site plan in order for the new location to fit their brand and exterior found at their other locations. With the approval, the fuel canopy finish will be changed from silver to Good 2 Go's orange brand color, a wall on the front of the building will be revised from red aluminum panels to cement siding painted to match the dark bronze building accents, and an additional 17' x 27'-5" tower with stone and cement will be added around the store's doorway entrance. The commission approved the requested changes.
