Open House For Future Land Use Map Amendment

An open house will be held at the Herriman City Hall Council Chambers (5355 W Main Street) on Wednesday, February 7th, 6:30 – 8:30 p.m.

As explained in the Herriman Connection newsletter in January, as well as on, the City has proposed an amendment to the Future Land Use Map. This map is a part of the Herriman City 2025 General Plan.

The intent of the proposed general plan amendment is to promote economic growth within the city. To explore more commercial and light industrial development opportunities, the City will focus on the ten primary locations below where zoning changes for Commercial of Light Industrial/Business Park zoning may be viable options.
