Wednesday, November 18, 2020, Herriman City broke ground on the long-awaited K9 Memorial Dog Park.
A dog park has been a widely requested amenity among our residents. Additionally, this park, located along Herriman Main Street near 12600 South, will pay permanent tribute to police K9s—particularly K9s Dingo and Hondo, who each gave their lives in the line of duty in service of our community.
Estimated park completion is late 2021. View the plan for the park here.

There’s a new park in town!

Located at 13475 S 6400 W, L&L Hamilton Park is a unique amenity for our community.

It is the home of the first all-inclusive playground in Herriman, accessible to children with all ranges of abilities. Thanks to all our amazing partners over the years who have made this amazing destination happen.

Bobcat Drive will be permanently closed on Monday, November 30th.  Herriman City will be installing the newly designed K9 Memorial Dog Park that will be opened in summer 2021.

Bobcat Drive was initially installed as a temporary secondary access to the Western Springs Development. Residents were made aware that it would be torn out at some point in the future. Now that there are other access points to the subdivision, it is time for those plans to move forward.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you in your daily travels.
