The Events Department plans and coordinates all Herriman City events throughout the year. The department aims to accommodate all ages and interests of those living in our community while continuing traditions and supporting a vibrant culture.

The Community Fishing program is aimed to help youth learn how to fish over the course of six classes, held once a week in the spring.

A valued Herriman tradition, the Memorial Day Breakfast and Ceremony is an opportunity for the community to say "thank you" to military veterans. The breakfast is traditionally located at Main Street Park and includes delicious food available for purchase, followed by an honor procession to the ceremony. The ceremony, held at the Herriman City Cemetery, includes a playing of Taps and a reading of the name of each veteran laid to rest in the cemetery.

The Fort Herriman PRCA Rodeo is one of the summer favorites for Herriman residents as we harken back to the olden days and Herriman's wild west past.

Fort Herriman Towne Days spans an entire week and is the largest event in Herriman City, with activities for the whole family.

The Hungry Herriman food truck roundup is a popular gathering point for friends and family to get some grub and hang out in Crane Park. It is usually held on Monday evenings throughout the summer.

At the Senior Social, we invite those in our community who have seen a thing or two to gather for some good food, conversation, and entertainment at the Herriman City Hall.
