The Citizens Police Academy (CPA) is a free course, designed to strengthen the partnership between the Herriman City Police Department and the community it serves. This academy is designed for anyone 21 years and older who either live or work within the Herriman City boundaries.
The CPA is a six-week course one night a week on Thursday nights.
Class begins at 6 PM ending somewhere between 8-9PM. The duration of the class will depend on the curriculum being taught each night.
This program is in high demand with a limited class size. Because of this, we ask those wanting to participate to be committed to attend each night of the six weeks. If you believe you may miss one or two classes, please consider applying for next year's academy.
***Note: Citizens Police Academy application must be fully completed. An incomplete application form will not be considered for approval.***
***Note: A photo of your government-issued ID card (such as a driver license) will not be accepted.***
