We Are Herriman: Heidi Shegrud

Heidi Shegrud serves as Herriman City’s Landscape Architect and consistently goes above and beyond. She oversees open space programming design and parks projects, keeping a close eye to ensure Herriman gets top-quality work for its amenities. She has also been a key member in guiding the City’s Parks, Trails, and Open Space Master Plan.
Heidi is a key part of keeping the community engaged in various projects, including creating video presentations and responding to residents to make sure they know they’re heard. She plans the annual Planting Palooza and manages the Community Gardens and its committee.
Her positive attitude and energy are infectious, and she brings a smile to everyone with whom she works. Serving in the Engineering Department, she keeps an eye out to make sure the City Engineer doesn’t miss any birthdays and that everyone gets taken care of. We are proud to have Heidi in the Herriman family.
