City Hall Reopening Monday, April 12

City-Hall-Reopening-Latest-News.jpg

Herriman City is announcing that all public areas in the city hall will re-open starting Monday, April 12th, including building reservations. The public was previously limited to the customer service, planning, building, and passport areas to help slow the spread of the virus. The Utah legislature passed House Bill 294 in March. As part of this, the state is lifting its COVID-19 mask mandate effective April 10th.Herriman City is also lifting its mask requirements inside the city hall except for groups of 50 or more, per the state health order.

However, there are a few places that masks are still required, and we want to relay that information from the county and state:

  • Facilities run by Salt Lake County, including the JL Sorenson Recreation Center and Herriman Library, will still require masks, per the County's policy. This will remain in effect until May 31st or until otherwise modified. Questions about that policy should be directed to the County.
  • K-12 schools, including those in the Jordan School District, still have a mask policy in place through June 15th.
