Email Councilmember Keith
Adams
Keith Adams was born in Washington State and grew up in the
small Northwest Montana town of Kalispell. After serving in
the first Gulf War as active duty in the U.S. Air Force, he
moved to Utah and began working for a family owned Utah based
company. After nearly 11 years, he is still with the same company
working in his position as their Director of Information Technologies.
Keith and his wife LuAnn have 3 children, Kylie, Heather and
Landen.
Over the years Keith and his family had visited Herriman several
times looking for a place to build a home. In late 2000 the
search became more serious, and by April of 2001 they had acquired
a half acre lot and broke ground on a new home in the Rosecrest
subdivision.
Keith and his wife knew that Herriman was a great place to live,
and he wanted to know more about the City and the issues surrounding
the City. In 2002 Keith began attending City Council as well
as the Planning Commission meetings.
In January of 2003, Brett Wood, a long time resident and respected
City Council member opted to take a full time position with
Herriman City as Operations Manager. In taking this position,
Brett Wood stepped down as a City Council member. Through an
application and interview process, Keith was appointed to the
remainder of Brett’s term. This past Election Day Keith
was able to retain his City Council seat for another 4 years.
“As a family we enjoy boating, rollerblading, and camping.
We love Herriman and all of the opportunities that we have as
a part of this community.”
