Requirements for New Water Meter Set
Hours: 7:30 am to 5:30 pm – Please call prior to 4:30 pm for all inspection requests.
Prior to getting your water meter set on a newly constructed home in most areas, you will be required to meet with one of the Building Department Staff to review grading and drainage requirements for your lot. If your parcel is .08 acres or less, or if this is NOT a new meter set (meaning you have purchased it from a previous owner who already had a water meter), this requirement will not apply to you.
Please bring the following items with you to apply for water to the Herriman City Offices at 13011 South Pioneer Street (6000 W):
- Completed water application (see Herriman City Municipal Water Application)
- Settlement statement from closing of home
- Picture I.D.
Herriman City Office hours are from 7:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (except State and Federal holidays). Apply for water at the main reception counter on the main floor, then come downstairs to the Building Department for the grading and drainage information.
