Prior to getting your water meter set on a newly constructed home, you will be required to meet with one of the Building Department Staff to review drainage requirements for your lot. If this is NOT a new meter set, meaning you have purchased it from a previous owner who already had a water meter, this requirement will not apply to you.
We prefer to have an appointment made ahead of time. Contact the Building Department with the address or subdivision and lot number. You can make the appointment by email building@herriman.org, or phone (801) 446-5327 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
The City Office Building is located at 13011 South Pioneer Street. The Building Department offices are located on the basement floor. Be aware that the Building Department hours are different than the main city hours. We are open from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Remember, the office is closed on all State and Federal holidays.
