We Are Herriman: Ryleigh Herrera

Ryleigh “The Rocket” Herrera at 12 years old has trained as a college athlete. Through the sweat and tears, pushing her body and training to new levels, her hard work paid off. She ended her 2020 National series with the win at the USABMX Grands 2020 held in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Ryleigh competed against some amazing, fast riders in her division whom her dad, Ernie said, “Any one of them could have taken the win.”

Her parents, Ernie and Cari Herrera are filled with joy, pride, and love beyond belief. For others, Ryleigh’s age sports might just be sports, but to Ryleigh, BMX is life.

Congratulations, Ryleigh, on finishing your 2020 season on such a high.
