Schleich USA toy company celebrated its 85th anniversary this year and launched “The Power of Imagination” photo contest. Schleich asked kids across America to submit photos that helped bring Schleich toys to life in participants’ own imaginative scenes. Rosa, 15, from Herriman, was chosen out of more than 5,000 entries worldwide as the grand prize winner. She incorporated some of Herriman’s root activities into her photo, portraying that this type of recreation is still alive and well in the minds of our children.

“The four riders needed a break from teaching lessons and competing in rodeos one week so they decided to pack up all their gear, some snacks, and headed out for a beautiful camping trip. The next day, they decided to take a trail ride to the top of the valley, for a wonderful view. This picture was taken when they all reached the top and enjoyed the view.”
