Lon Christensen has been with Herriman City for 21 years and serves as the Assistant Building Official. Through those years, he has served Herriman tirelessly and is a strength of our city. He seems to remember every house he’s ever inspected, and even where the water heater is! His work ethic is exceptional, and he always knows what to do. Lon is the type of person you always want on your team and mentors his colleagues, sharing his valuable experience freely.
He has embraced the changes forced upon the busy Building Department due to COVID-19. Not to be slowed down, he and other department staff have conducted inspections via Facetime and other mobile means.
A master craftsman, Lon lends helping hands to friends and co-workers with projects at home. He enjoys going to the movies and spending time with his loved ones. He is a valuable member of our Herriman family.
